UIBE Introduction
The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) is jointly-sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Commerce and is at present the only economic university in China been granted with four International Accreditations as EQUIS, AASCB, CAMEA and AMBA. UIBE is competitive in the subjects such as international trade, international law, finance, business management and foreign languages, and the university has both Chinese and English instructional systems from the undergraduate to postgraduate levels, allowing UIBE to be one of the most important institutes for talents' training and scientific research on Chinese economic and business development.
Detailed Information
The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), situated near the Olympic Business Center of Beijing, was founded in 1951. UIBE is a national key university under the leadership of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Commerce, and is one of the first batch of universities to be included in "project 211", also participated in the "Double-First Class" initiative.
UIBE pursues to be an outstanding national university and a prestigious international university with its distinct characteristics. UIBE has already become a multi-disciplinary university specialized in the fields of economics, management, liberal arts, law and science, and competitive in the subjects such as international trade, international law, finance, business management and foreign languages. UIBE is the first university in possession of both Chinese and English instructional systems at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. At present, the university offers nearly 84 majors to overseas students of bachelor, master and doctoral study. Among them, 29 majors are offered entirely in English. UIBE is at present the only economic university in China which has been granted with four accreditations as EQUIS, AASCB, CAMEA and AMBA. In terms of AACSB, we are the first entitled university among the "project 211" institutes. Being the only university with "Career Advisory Center"for International students, UIBE has established cooperative relationships with over 100 famous enterprises. In 2017, we ranked the 1st on the ratio of currently studying International students to Chinese students among all China universities, the 2nd place in employment rate, 1st place in the terms of payment increase for graduates, and 1st place on the rate of Chinese graduates studying abroad. In the 2017 ranking of "China’s Best Universities" held by Shanghai Jiaotong University, UIBE ranked the first place among multi-disciplinary universities.
UIBE has a total enrollment of around 16,000 full-time students including more than 2,600 international students from over 150 countries. As always, UIBE students are widely welcomed by society for their sound professional knowledge and skills, strong linguistic ability, active thinking and rich practical experience. UIBE graduates have been mainly employed in government departments, multinational corporations, financial sectors, large-scale foreign trade corporations and commercial institutions stationed abroad. They are playing an important role in promoting global economy and social development.
HOUSING
International students are suggested by Chinese government to live on campus during their study in China. On UIBE campus, there are three residential buildings for international students, visiting scholars, and visiting professors. In total, there is accommodation for 1,278 people on campus (All the prices listed below are for long-term students).
1. Huibin Building (No. 6 Building)
Completed in 1999, the whole building has in total 204 standard rooms and can contain up to 410 students.
Location: Northwest of UIBE
Facilities: Bath room, Air Conditioner, TV set, Wifi Service, Writing Desk, Wardrobe. Besides, a public kitchen in every floor, a laundry room in the basement of the builiding.
Price: RMB50 per bed per day.
2. Huicai Building (No. 5 Building)
Completed in 2002, the whole building has in total 89 economic rooms and 117 apartments, can contain up to 412 students.
Location: Northwest of UIBE
Facilities: Bed room, Air Conditioner, TV set, Wifi Service, Writing Desk, Wardrobe，Public Bathroom and washroom.
Apartment：Sitting room, Bedroom, Bathroom, Kitchen, Air conditioner, TV set, Telephone, Internat access, Writing desk and bookshelf.
Price: RMB35/65 per bed per day.
3. Huide Building (No. 0 Building)
Completed in 2001, contains 143 twin-room apartments, housing up to 375 students.
Location: Between Qiuzhi building and Huizhi buiding(No. 1 building near the first canteen).
Facilities: Sitting room, Bedroom, Bathroom, Kitchen, Air conditioner, TV set, Telephone, Internat access, Writing desk and bookshelf.
Price: RMB50/75 per bed per day.
4. International Plaza (New Building)
Completed in 2017,west building has in total 294 rooms including 269 standard rooms, 10 triple rooms, 15 quadruple rooms. East building has 412 single rooms and can contain up to 1040 students.
Location: Northwest of UIBE, west of UIBE’s Gymnasium Building
Facilities: Bath room, 24 hours Hot Water Service, Air Conditioner, TV set, Wifi Service, Writing Desk, Wardrobe. Besides, Coffee Shop, Gym, Business Center, Meeting rooms, Laundry are serviced in the building.
Price: RMB80 to 100 per bed per day.

Applicants please visit the website of School of International Education (SIE) of UIBE at http://sie.uibe.edu.cn. Please read through program introductions and application procedures before online application. Each applicant should click Apply Online and create an account with a valid personal e-mail address, and one e-mail address can be only registered once. The system will automatically send an activation link to the registered e-mail box, and then applicants can continue the application process after the link has been activated. Please keep in mind the account name and password.
Please follow the instructions and fill out personal information, learning program, guarantor information, etc. At the last page, please click “submit” to finish the online application form.
After that, please print out the application form, and sign it appropriately. Applicants shall submit application form and other materials required according to the applied program by post, e-mail, fax or hand documents in person to Admissions Office, School of International Education of UIBE and pay the application fee by cash or bank transfer (The application fee is non-refundable).
School of International Education will start the verification of applicants' application materials and admission. Applicants can apply on-campus accommodation through online application system upon the confirmation of acceptance.
Special Reminder: While making bank transfer, agency or applicant shall mark clearly agency name or applicant's passport name, passport number and SIE account code (108) in the remittance bill or slip and then send the copy to Admissions Office by fax or e-mail immediately for enrollment confirmation. Otherwise, the regular enrollment procedure will be affected.

4) Elementary Chinese, Business Chinese and Chinese Business Study Programs:

Intensive Chinese is RMB 19,800 for first semester and RMB 18,800 for each subsequent semester.
5) Chinese Business and Cultural Studies: RMB 3,000 per course.
6) General Scholar: the same as Bachelor’s tuition
7) Senior Scholar: the same as Master’s or Doctoral tuition
3. Material fee: It refers to the actual price of the textbooks.
4. Accommodation (for long term students who live on campus over 3 months): Single room RMB 85-160/day; Double room RMB 45-80/person/day. Each room is equipped with bathroom, furniture, beddings, A/C, refrigerator, TV set, Internet jack, etc.
