Overview of Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau (KWNC)
Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau (KWNC), founded in 1923, is a subsidiary institution of Kiang Wu Hospital Charitable Association (KWHCA). Evolving from the former Kiang Wu Nursing and Midwifery School, the College is the oldest nursing education institute in Macau. The College has inherited the spirit of Sun Yat-sen and Kiang Wu, which is also the educational philosophy of “From Personhood to Benevolence”, valuing the care for human being and diversified education.
In 2015, the College received confidence ratings from the UK Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) in an institutional quality audit (IQA). The College is striving to enhance the curriculum to be multi-disciplinary and advancing towards top tier training. It is also determined to timely accommodate social demand and medical development.
KWNC is specified in nursing education and committed to cultivating students to be professional nursing talents who strive for both competence and integrity. Graduates from KWNC will master professional skills and knowledge, and will broaden their development prospects. Their involving domains will not be limited to hospitals, communities or schools, they can continue to study for an advanced degree at prestigious education institution anywhere in the world. KWNC offers Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Nursing programme.

Entrance Requirements
1. Above with senior secondary graduation or equivalent education level (applicable to both arts and science students).
2. Special Requirements:
-Applicants are able to apply for exemption of written examination for admission provided that they had attained bachelor or above education level, with related bachelor or above documents.
-Applicants who do not fulfil abovementioned admission requirements, and are aged 23 or above are required to provide related evidence of work experiences and learning ability. Upon receiving the College’s approval, applicants can apply for a written examination.

Online registration documents (All original documents are to be verified after admission):
- Original and photocopy of ID card
- Original and photocopy of academic reports of Form 4 to Form 6
- Original and photocopy of graduation certificate (prospective graduate not having obtained the certificate may submit it on the registration day)
- 1.5-inch recent colour photo
- A non-refundable application fee – MOP 300 will be charged (The enrollment fee for both successful and unsuccessful applicants is non-refundable.)
