Zunyi Medical and Pharmaceutical College (ZMPC) is a full-time public higher vocational college which has a history of over 60 years. It is located at the university town of Xinpu District, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. With a total investment of RMB 2.3 billion, it covers an area of 230 acres and a building area of 598,600 square meters. There are about 14,000 full-time students and 1,125 faculty members.

As a Model Higher Vocational College, a Quality Higher Vocational College and a High-level Secondary Vocational College Program College in Guizhou province, ZMPC has 2 affiliated hospitals, 2 non-affiliated hospital, 3 teaching hospitals, and more than 180 off-campus internship and training bases. There are 2 provincial excellent teaching teams, 3 provincial master teachers and 2 provincial master's studios.

The college owns a national Chinese medicinal herb laboratory (level Ⅱ), a provincial animal experimental center, a municipal medicinal herb ethnomedicine & new medicine research laboratory, a clinical pathology diagnosis center, a medicolegal expertise center and a body donation center.

The college consists of 6 departments and 2 teaching sections. It offers 25 majors, namely Nursing, Maternal-Child Nursing, Nursing for the Aged, Oral Care, Midwifery, Home Service and Management, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncture and Tuina, Rehabilitation Technology of TCM, Rehabilitation Technology, Medical Beauty Technology, Clinical Medicine, Stomatology, Preventive Medicine, Public Health Management, Health Management, Medical Nutrition, Food and Drug Supervision Management, Health Inspection and Quarantine Technology, Medical Information Management, Pharmacy, Chinese Pharmacy, Medicine Trade and Management, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Medical Imaging Technology.
