Kunming University of Science and Technology (KUST) covers 27 faculties (schools) and 1 teaching departments currently, offering 106 Bachelor’s degree programs, 244 Master’s degree programs, 52 doctoral degree programs, and 8 post-doctoral exchange stations, as well as other programs including preparatory course, continuing education for adults, vocational training and Chinese language course for international students. KUST has a qualified and experienced academic team that conducts both teaching and research. Currently the total number of staff is about 3,900 including approximately 1,300 experts with senior professional and technical posts. There are two academicians of China Academy of Engineering and one China Academy of Science working for KUST. KUST has over 60,000 students at present, including more than 11,000 post graduate students and about 1,600 international students.
