Zhejiang Business Technology Institute

Zhejiang Business Technology Institute (ZBTI), located in the city of Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, is a full-time state-owned general higher vocational institute. With a history of 100 years, ZBTI aims to train high-quality and skilled professional personnel and cultivate them with innovative spirit and commercial. The institute has a total of 700 teachers and staff members and offers 35 courses with over 9,000 full-time students, and nearly 7,000 students registered for adult education. We welcome students from all countries and cultures. Now we have over 100 overseas students from more than 15 countries.

Besides Chinese course, Zhejiang Business Technology Institute offers opportunity for international students to join the Sino-Australia Cooperative Programs with Holmesglen as Chinese students. All degree programmes are taught in English and to the same high standards as Holmesglen in Australia, with many academic staff being seconded from Australia to Ningbo. We also offer a number of courses which allow you to spend your first year in China and your last two years in Holmesglen, Australia. All our courses in the first year allow you to graduate with a Holmesglen Dioploma and a degree after you finish two years courses in Holmesglen Australia. We believe the international education will be an incredibly valuable asset on your CV. Up to now, more than 100 students have been in Australia for further study.

Guaranteed accommodation

Accommodation is automatically provided to you once you gain and accept an offer. International students are normally placed at the International Residence Building. All rooms are basic furnished and equipped so that you can have access the school’s data network.

Your application documents should include:
1. Passport

4. Highest education certificate
5. One recommendation letter(from your teacher or supervisor)
6. Personal statement
7. English language test certificate(eg. IELTS, TOEFL if you have)
8. Health examination record

Fees and Scholarships

Tuition fee: 6000 RMB for language program (after 50% covered by the school sholarship); 18,000 RMB for Sino-Australia cooperative programs.
Accommodation on campus: 1200RMB (after 50% covered by the school sholarship)
Insurance: No more than 800RMB
Text book: about 600RMB for language program; 1200RMB for Sino-Australia cooperative programs.
Accommodation deposit: 300RMB (refundable)

Scholarships: To encourge academic excellence, Zhejiang Business Technology Institute offers 50% for tuition fee and accommodation fee for every language international student, and 50% accommodation for every Sino-Australia Cooperative programs' international student. Our international students can also apply for Ningbo government scholarship every year.

Zhejiang Business Technology Institute's Chinese language program is not only for language learning, but also for cultural practice.
