Xi'an Siyuan University, founded as a comprehensive higher learning institution under the official approval from the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China in 1998, is a model workstation co-established with other institutions under the approval from Shaanxi Provincial Education Bureau and other authorities for joint training post-graduate programs, and is the first private university in Shaanxi province to be qualified to admit degree students from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, overseas Chinese communities and foreign countries. Looking down the sliding Ba He and Chan He rivers to the west and overlooking the lofty Qinling Mountains to the south and the site of the Xi'an World Horticultural Expo to the north, the campus of Xi'an Siyuan University is situated in an impressive natural environment and enjoys pleasant scenery on the tender west slopes of Bai Lu Yuan. Since its founding in 1998, the university has been working towards the goal of developing into a highly competitive university by following its guidelines of innovative education, by giving priority to offering educational programs with optimal specialties, and by developing complete systems of management. Thanks to the firm measures that have been taken to supervise the faculty in their teaching processes and to regulate the students in their learning processes, the past two decades have witnessed the continuous improvement of the quality of the university's regular undergraduate education. Higher vocational education has come to gain in diversifying features, and successive arrangements have been made for training graduate students. With managerial policies effectively working to guarantee its efficient operation, the university has now evolved into a new type of higher education institution, which consists of 7 undergraduate schools, 3 colleges of vocational education, 1 school of continuing education, and 2 workstations for joint training of graduate students. With the university's advancement in undertakings of undergraduate education, higher vocational education, continuing education and postgraduate education, a total of over 18,000 regular students are now receiving quality education by enjoying the offering of programs and specialties that cover a wide range of disciplines in engineering, humanities, economics, management, education, law, arts, and nursing. Xi'an Siyuan University is a young but promising university. It has been dedicated to offering more and better educational services to Chinese young people. In the past 20 years, it has been carrying on and extending the great academic tradition of Xi'an Jiaotong University. Assisted by good educational resources from colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province, the University takes it as its objective to prepare applied professionals for modern development. Its aim is to build up a clustering discipline, with emphasis on quality, profession, innovation and diverse global cooperative education. Much contribution has been made to the reform of Chinese higher education, which has prepared many excellent professionals for China. In the course of transformation, Siyuan is passionately making a blueprint for further development. It will take innovative thinking and regular academic management to make Siyuan widely famous in China and greatly impressive in the world within five years. 1、APPLICATION FORM FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS XI'AN SIYUAN UNIVERSITY with personal signature.(The form needs a word version and a scanned PDF version signed by the student);
2、Official copy of high school diploma or highest academic certificate and official transcript. (Prospective diploma recipients shall submit official documents issued by your current school to prove your current student status and expected graduation date.The official diploma must be provided at registration;
3、A copy of the Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (the official test on Chinese Proficiency) transcript or a copy of the English proficiency test transcript (or scanned copy);
4、A copy of the passport information page and passport size photos (or scanned copy), the photo format is jpg format, (Applicants who once obtained the Chinese visa need additional materials);
5、Certificate of None-Criminal Record (or scanned copy) within the validity period；(Usually the Certificate of None Criminal Record is valid for 6 months);
6、A copy of the Foreigner Physical Examination form (photocopy) and blood test reports. (The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a stamped photograph of the applicant are considered invalid. Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the health reports is valid for only 6 months)
7.Financial support statement. (Required for self-supporting applicants. Income verification and passport information. Proof of sufficient income to cover the costs of living and studying in China).

Siyuan puts strong emphasis on the reserve and development of young teachers. In recent ten years, it has an excellent teaching staff for wide programs with reasonable age structure.
