TIANJIN MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

Tianjin Medical University was established in 1951, and also was the first university recognized by WHO and UNESCO in China. The university is a dedicated and preeminent research and education institution with medical science as the core subject and life science as its foundation. 

The university a large group of 8683 staffs teaching, research and administrative, including 563 visiting professors from worldwide, more than 10,000 full-time medical related students studying at the university main campus, and 7 university hospitals and 24 teaching hospitals with 19,216 teaching beds. more than 50000 graduations talent activities worldwide.

TMU has established academic exchange programs and cooperative relations with 93 universities from 22 countries and organized a "International Advisory Committee".

In 1997, the International Medical School was founded. The current number and quality of our international students rank the first among the medical universities in China. Currently, 1300 international students from 91 countries in the world are learning in TMU. Until now, the university has built up 3000 full-time graduates which has gained quality brand worldwide and been renowned for our medical education at home and abroad. International medical education program of TMU obtained the national first level prize for education achievement, ranked the first level of medical education in China.
