Changzhou Vocational Institute of Industry Technology (CIIT) is a full-time general vocational college under the administration of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education. It is a demonstrative vocational institute of Jiangsu. CIIT was established in 1958, has 8 teaching units, namely, Overseas Education School, Digital Business School, Tourism and Wellness School, Information Engineering School, Material Engineering School, Machinery and Transportation School, Intelligent Control School, and Art & Creativity School, containing 46 majors. The institute was listed in “Top Fifty of Educational Achievements" and "Top Fifty of International Influence".

At present, the institute has more than 15,000 full-time students and over 700 faculty members. The institute has been awarded “The First Grade of Jiangsu University Comprehensive Assessment” for five consecutive years. In recent years, the institute has enrolled over 500 international students from more than 30 countries. The institute has the Tajikistan Study Center, “the Belt and Road” Central-Asian Study Center and several Overseas Talents Training Bases. The institute wasawarded as the “Jiangsu Provincial Advanced Collective of International Students Education” and “ EducationPlus 2023 Typical Vocational Education Exchange and Cooperation Institute”.

Diploma students: the length of schooling is three years, with 2 English taught majors and 9 Chinese taught majors. If the credits are completed and meet the graduation requirements, graduation is granted. In addition, our school recommends outstanding graduates to enter undergraduate institutions for study (3+2 undergraduate programs).

   Each dormitory contains 2 or 4 students.

  For 2-person dorm: independent kitchen, parlor, bathroom, shower with 24-hour hot water, each room with air-conditioner, refrigerator, washing machine, induction cooker and microwave oven.

  For 4-person dorm: independent bathroom, shower with 24-hour hot water, each room with air-conditioner, refrigerator. There is a public kitchen and a public wash-house on each floor.

Enrollment Requirements
1. Be non-Chinese citizens;
2.Have a certificate equivalent to Chinese high school graduation or equivalent;
3.Age: 18-25 years old, with independent learning and living ability, moral integrity, physical and mental health；
4. Have a certain economic foundation, and be able to bear the expenses incurred by studying in China;
5.Have interest in Chinese language and major knowledge; have interest on Chinese economy and culture;
6. Applicants for English speaking majors must have the ability to communicate and learn in English and provide valid proof. Chinese language teaching majors require a HSK level 4 (total score ≥ 180 points) or higher certificate.

Papers for Application
1. High school diploma& transcript (with an English translation notarized copy).
2. The bio page of valid passport (the validity of passport should be 3 years or more).
3. Foreigner Physical Examination Form .
4. No criminal certificate.
5. English or Chinese proficiency certificates.
6. Finance Supporting Documents (A copy of guarantor’s valid identity documents should be attached) (Attachment 3).
7. Recent 2-inch photo with white bottom and no crown (electronic photo).
8. The most recent Chinese Visa or Chinese Residence Permit (Provide if any. If he/she conceals his/her experience in China and affects his/her enrollment, he/she shall bear the responsibility).

Procedure
1.Apply on the website: https://ise.ciit.edu.cn/.
2.Send papers for application in email to ctm@ciit.edu.cn.
3.Checked by the school.
4.Pre-admission inspection by online interview and other channels.
5.The school sends a scanned copy of the admission letter. Upon payment of the application fee,the school will send the applicant the original Admission Letter and Visa Application for Study inChina (table JW202).
6.The applicant shall apply for a study visa in China (X1 visa) at the Chinese Embassy orConsulate in his or her country with the Admission Letter, the medical examination records of foreigners and the Visa Application for Study in China (table JW202).
7.The applicant should arrive at the school within the time specified in Admission Letter.
8.The application and admission information will be rechecked upon registration.
9.Health check.
10.Test the applicant's language proficiency and learning ability.
11.Student registration.

Charges

1. Tuition:

Note:

Students who do not provide proof of language ability but apply for teaching in Chinese are required to undertake one year of preparatory study. Fees for the preparatory stage (language learning stage) are based on this standard.

Note:
1.At the end of the academic year, comprehensive scholarship and individual scholarship will be evaluated according to comprehensive performance.

2. Language students (preparatory students) do not enjoy this scholarship. If preparatory students continue to receive academic education in our school, he/she can enjoy this scholarship standard from the second academic year.

3.Those who have been punished by criminal or administrative punishment for violating Chinese laws and regulations, those who have been warned or above for violating school rules and regulations and those who have failed in the academic year are not eligible for scholarship evaluation.
