Applying Requirements and Procedure
Ⅰ. Applicant Qualifications
Applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens, who have senior high school graduation certificates and good health and conduct with no records of criminal offences, who are willing to abide by China's laws and regulations and XVTC's rules and who have valid ordinary passports or border resident certificates (suitable for Lao applicants).
Ⅱ. Time and Method of Application
Application is filed from March 1 to July 31 every year. Applicants or those delegated by them can go through on-site application formalities in person or by posting to XVTC their application documentations—these materials shall arrive in good time prior to the closing date for application.

Ⅲ. The Applying Documentations
A. Non-diploma program applicants (Chinese language learners)
Non-diploma program applicants can register directly with the XVTC's Office for International Programs on August 20—31 with their valid documentations.
B. Diploma-program applicants
1. The Admission Application Form can be downloaded from the following website:

2. Photocopies of senior high school graduation certificates
3. The senior high school reports
4. Photocopies of valid documentations
5. HSK Certificate IV
Ⅳ. Admission
All the documentations used for application need to be posted to the XVTC's Office for International Programs. Applicants who have been approved will be notified of admission through emails followed by the Letter of Admission. The time of enrollment is September every year and the exact entrance date will be specified in the Letter of Admission.
Fees
Ⅰ. Fees for self-supporting international students
Self-supporting international students and their Chinese counterparts are charged on the equal basis (See Table 1)

Scholarships
A. Full scholarship
Applicants can apply for full scholarships at the departments of education of the provinces of Laos and XVTC’s office at Laos responsible for enrolling Lao students.
B. Tuition waiver scholarship
Self-supporting international students who have met the requirements of XVTC with academic excellence can win tuition waiver scholarships.
