International Student Apartments of Taiyuan University of Technology are located in 3 campuses, which are the Yingxi Campus, the Huyu Campus, and the Mingxiang Campus , with a total of 4 buildings. The International Student Apartments are designed and constructed in accordance with the relevant requirements of the General Colleges and Universities Building Area Index.

The apartments are equipped with common laundry rooms, common kitchens, and the rooms are equipped with separate toilets,balconies, etc., and have separate beds, mattresses, bookcases, tables and chairs and other bedding. The buildings are equipped with fire-fighting equipment as required, and each floor is installed surveillance cameras.  The infrastructure is complete and campus life is convenient here.

二、招生类别及要求  Enrollment categories and requirements

I. Be a high school diploma/certificate holder under the age of 25 when applying for bachelor programs;High school everage score is not less than 80/100.
II. Be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 30 when applying for master’s programs;GPA not less than 3.0 (maximum 4.0).
III.Be a master’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for doctoral programs; GPA not less than 3.0  (maximum 4.0)
IV.Be a student who apply for academic programs taught in Chinese but fail to pass hsk4 test.
V.Students with zero basic Chinese or HSK3 level shall study Chinese at their own expense, under the age of 40 .

 Requirements on language proficiency and others:
I.Have acquired the Chinese proficiency of HSK Level 4 that up to 200 points and above when applying for Chinese-taught master’s or doctoral programs;
II.Applicants are required to meet one of the 1-3 conditions:

1. The applicant's mother tongue is English or the official language is English;
2. The highest level of education is taught in English;
3. English International Test: IELTS academic 6.0, single subject not less than 5.5; TOEFL 85, single subject not less than 20, or equivalent; GRE score not less than 300.

If you can't provide the above English proficiency certificate, you need to take the entrance English proficiency test. If you can't pass the test, you must take one year of Chinese preparatory study.

三、申请材料 Application materials        
Applicants are required to register and submit application online, high-definition scanning copy of personal are required,  (1) Application deadline for the fall semester:  May 31. Applicants must complete online registration before the deadline, and the university will feedback the admission results within 30 days.(2) Online registration system: http://is.tyut.edu.cn . Applicants shall truthfully fill in their own health status, study and work experience and have obtained the highest diploma, The personal information must be consistent and correct. If the application information is inaccurate or incomplete, applicants would be at your own risk. 

Domestic applicants must have complete insurance purchase records and qualifications.Applicants must have the valid passport.and the residence permit . we cannot accept the application who hold the X2、S2、M、T、F、L visa types .The application materials required by the students are as follows:
 

四.招生流程 Admissions Process

Step 1: Step1: Visit the Recruitment portal of Taiyuan University of Technology (http://is.tytu.edu.cn) andt “CSC Study in China” website ( http://www.campuschina.org) and finish the both admission application. Finish inputting personal details by filling in all the information, uploading all application materials, verifying,saving and submiting the information.
Step 2: To master students or doctral students,please browse the pages of relevant professional tutors and contact them by email.Introduce your learning experience and research plan for the next three years to your tutor. If the tutor agrees to accept you for a master's or doctoral degree, the tutor will send you an invitation letter and a tutor evaluation form.Upload the appeal file to the school enrollment portal.
Step 3: After passing the online interview ,you will be informed to pay the registration fee and upload payment certificate to our admission porta
Step 4: Receive the pre-admission notice.
Step 5: Confirm mailing address
Step 6: Receive the JW201 form or JW202 form and formal admission notice.
Step 7: Apply for a visa to China at the local Chinese embassy.
Step8: Visit http://is.tyut.edu.cn to apply for pick-up, accommodation online.
Step 9: Check-in and take the entrance examination.

Note: Please pay attention to the website notice in time for the specific time of each work.
    After the applicants are admitted, they will receive the following documents from our school: admission notice, JW202/JW201 form, and instructions for registration. Applicants should apply for an "X" visa to China at the local Chinese embassy or consulate with an ordinary passport, admission notice, "Visa Application Form for Studying in China" JW202 or JW201, physical examination form and other required materials. Report to the school at the time specified in the admission notice. When registering, you must register with the admission notice and the materials required in the registration instructions.
    If the applicant does not meet the admission requirements due to academic qualifications, language certification, medical examination, insurance, and concealment of previous medical history after arriving at the school, Taiyuan University of Technology has the right to reject the applicant to register and leave the country within a specified time; if the applicant fails to pay the relevant payment in time after arriving at the school Fees, Taiyuan University of Technology has the right to refuse registration.
