江南大学是中国教育部直属、“211工程”和一流学科建设高校。学校拥有120年办学史；设有18个学院（部），涵盖10大学科门类，建有博士后流动站7个、博士学位授权一级学科7个、硕士学位授权一级学科31个以及16个硕士专业学位授权类别；9个学科进入ESI全球前1%，其中农业科学跻身前0.3‰；位居ESI综合排行中国大陆第55名，在《中国大学评价》中位居第45名。现有教职员工3461人、本科生20852人、博硕士研究生12093人、海内外校友17万人。

Jiangnan University（JNU）is the “211 Project” and First-class Discipline Construction University directly under the Ministry of Education of China. It has 120 years of history, 18 colleges covering 10 discipline categories, 7 post-doctoral mobile stations, 7 primary doctoral disciplines, 31 primary master’s disciplines and 16 professional master degree categories. 9 disciplines have entered the top 1% of ESI globally, including Agricultural Science in the top 0.3‰. JNU ranks the 45th on the Chinese university list. It has 3,461 staff，20,852 undergraduates，12,093 postgraduates and 170,000 alumni globally.

JNU has accepted international students since 1964, and now cooperates with 179 universities and research institutes from 35 countries and regions.
