学校概况
南京理工大学是隶属于工业和信息化部的全国重点大学，学校由创建于1953年的新中国军工科技最高学府——中国人民解放军军事工程学院（简称“哈军工”）分建而成，经历了中国人民解放军炮兵工程学院、华东工程学院、华东工学院等发展阶段，1993年更名为南京理工大学。1995年，学校成为国家首批“211工程”重点建设高校；2000年，获批成立研究生院；2011年，获批建设“985工程优势学科创新平台”；2017年，学校入选“双一流”建设高校，“兵器科学与技术”学科入选“双一流”建设学科；2018年，王泽山院士获得国家最高科学技术奖，同年，学校成为工信部、教育部、江苏省共建高校。进入新时代、开启新征程，学校坚持“以人为本，厚德博学”的办学理念，秉持“进德修业，志道鼎新”的校训，弘扬“团结、献身、求是、创新”的校风，以服务国家战略需求、推动社会进步为使命，为党育英才、为国铸利器，围绕陆海空天信融合发展，向特色鲜明世界一流大学的目标奋勇前进。
学校学科门类齐全，办学特色鲜明。现有机械工程学院、化学与化工学院、电子工程与光电技术学院、计算机科学与工程学院、经济管理学院、能源与动力工程学院、自动化学院、理学院、外国语学院、公共事务学院、马克思主义学院、材料科学与工程学院/格莱特研究院、环境与生物工程学院、设计艺术与传媒学院、知识产权学院、网络空间安全学院、智能制造学院、新能源学院、数学与统计学院、微电子学院（集成电路学院）等20个专业学院，以及钱学森学院、中法工程师学院、国际教育学院、创新创业教育学院、继续教育学院，并与合作方联合创办了南京理工大学紫金学院和南京理工大学泰州科技学院2个独立学院。学校在长期发展过程中形成了兵器与装备、信息与控制、化工与材料三大优势学科群，工程学、化学、材料科学、计算机科学、环境与生态学、物理学6个学科进入ESI国际学科领域全球排名前1%，其中，工程学进入前1‰。现有国家重点学科9个，江苏省优势学科6个，江苏省重点学科12个，工信部重点学科7个，国防特色学科10个；国家级一流本科专业建设点25个，国家级特色专业9个，教育部卓越工程师教育培养计划试点专业13个；博士后流动站16个；一级学科博士学位授权点20个、一级学科硕士学位授权点35个；具有博士专业学位授权类别2个、具有硕士专业学位授权类别19个；具有高级管理人员工商管理硕士（EMBA）授予权；具有在职人员以同等学力申请博士、硕士学位的授予权以及外国留学生和港澳台学生的招生权。学校现有各类全日制在校生30000余名，留学生1000余名。

学校科技优势突出，标志性成果不断涌现。始终坚持面向国家重大战略，瞄准科技前沿，在先进发射、光电信息、导航制导、先进材料等科技领域处于国内领先水平。现有国家级重点实验室1个，国家级工程技术研究中心1个，国家地方联合工程实验室1个，前沿科学中心1个，国家级技术研究推广中心1个，国家级技术转移示范机构1个，国家级质检中心1个，省部共建协同创新中心1个，国防技术创新中心分中心2个，省部级重点实验室28个，省部级工程（技术）研究中心26个，省部级哲学社会科学研究基地13个，建有国家大学科技园，并以此为依托承担了一大批国家重大科研任务，产出了一批重大原创性成果。“十三五”以来，获得省部级及以上科技奖励213项，其中国家级科技奖励17项（国家最高科学技术奖1项，国际科学技术合作奖1项，国家技术发明奖一等奖1项，国家科学技术进步奖一等奖3项，国家自然科学奖二等奖2项，国家技术发明二等奖6项，国家科学技术进步奖二等奖3项），实现五大奖种全覆盖。由我校担任总师单位研制的武器装备亮相新中国成立70周年阅兵式，接受了党和全国人民的检阅。学校大力推进产学研合作，推动重大科技成果的转化应用，被认定为首批高等学校科技成果转化和技术转移基地、首批国家知识产权示范高校，在高端装备、新一代信息技术、新材料等新兴产业领域创造了显著的经济效益和社会效益。
学校国际交流合作活跃，影响日益提升。大力推进国际化办学进程，与英国牛津大学、比利时鲁汶大学、新加坡国立大学、俄罗斯鲍曼国立技术大学、美国罗彻斯特大学、德国卡尔斯鲁厄理工学院、俄罗斯门捷列夫化工大学等150多所国（境）外知名高校和科研机构建立了密切的合作关系。现有国家级高等学校学科创新引智基地8个，入选世界知识产权组织技术与创新支持中心，建有江苏国际知识产权学院。与德国卡尔斯鲁厄理工学院合作建立格莱特纳米科技研究院，与法国梅斯国立工程师学院共建中法工程师学院，与英国考文垂大学设立中外合作办学项目。积极响应“一带一路”倡议，与白俄罗斯戈梅利国立大学共建孔子学院。建有欧亚研究院，包括沙特研究中心、白俄罗斯研究中心、中东欧研究中心。学校成立了教育发展基金会，社会各界通过基金会设立了100余项奖教金和奖助学金，支持学校在人才培养、科学研究和社会服务领域不断追求卓越。
学校办学环境宜人，基础设施一流。近年来，学校立足南京、面向江苏，不断延伸和扩展办学面，形成了“一校三区”的发展布局。南京校区占地3200亩，校舍建筑总面积110.9万平方米，固定资产总值52.3亿元，各类基础设施齐全，后勤服务系统完善，现有教学科研仪器设备21.7亿元，图书馆收藏280余万件印刷型文献、1100余万册各类电子型及数字型文献信息资源，主要聚焦核心办学功能提升，是学校传承办学文化、筑牢发展根基、扩大办学影响的主阵地，是支撑学校人才培养、科学研究等事业的核心校区。江阴校区占地1115亩，校舍建筑总面积32万平方米，主要聚焦国家战略实施和国际化办学，依托地方区域和产业优势，是建设服务“两个强国”先行区、前沿交叉学科先试区、国际化办学示范区。盱眙军民融合科研试验基地、水下科学试验中心和产学研合作基地正在筹建中，主要聚焦国防科技创新和成果转化，充分发挥地方资源优势，是以陆海空天信深度融合的科研试验基地为主的功能校区。

Introduction of Nanjing University of Science & Technology
Situated in Nanjing, the ancient capital of six dynasties in Chinese history, Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NJUST) was founded in 1953, and it is one of the seven universities affiliated to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. As a key university of “Project 211”and a member of the “Double First-class” construction universities and disciplines, NJUST ranks the 36th on the latest Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) and the 41st among all the Chinese Universities on QS ranking. The university boasts 2 gorgeous scenic campuses: Nanjing Campus and Jiangyin Campus, covering an area of 288 hectares.
NJUST is home to a total of 20 schools, with an enrollment of more than 30,000 students, including around 800 international students. Furthermore, NJUST has more than 2000 full-time faculty members, of whom 20 are Academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences or Chinese Academy of Engineering. NJUST have annual research funding which exceeds 1.5 Billion RMB.
At present, NJUST has 9 national key disciplines, 6 provincial first-level disciplines and 12 provincial key disciplines. The 6 disciplines of Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Computer Science, Environment and ecology, physics have been listed among the top 1% of ESI and Engineering has entered 1‰. NJUST offers a diverse curriculum including such subjects as engineering, science, management, economics, humanities, law, education, and many more. NJUST carries out pioneering research in the fields of Advanced Materials, Applied Chemistry, Optical Engineering, Optoelectronic Information, Electromagnetic and Microwave Technology, Pattern Recognition and Intelligent System, etc.
NJUST has established cooperative relationships with more than 100 universities and institutions from 31 countries and regions, including UCLA, UCSB, McMaster University, University of Oxford, University of Coventry, University of Leuven, University of Lorrain, University of Stuttgart, Australian National University, University of Queensland, etc. Apart from pushing forward joint programs with these international partners from renowned educational establishments, NJUST has established the Sino-French Engineer School, which is a joint institution cultivating CTI certified tri-lingual engineers. Accommodation
Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province, lies in the eastern part of China close to Shanghai. Nanjing used to be an ancient capital of six dynasties with a long historical and cultural heritage and has now become an international metropolis which is inclusive, open, friendly and livable. Situated at the southern bank of the Yangtze River, Nanjing has a history of over 2,500 years. Having served as the capital city for nearly 500 years, it is recognized as one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China.
Nanjing has 4 distinct seasons with relatively huge temperature differences. Nanjing has plenty of rainfall to keep it green and shorter springs and autumns whilst the winters and summers are rather longer.
Jiangyin Campus is named of the "Furong City" reflect from a historical story of "Old Seal of Chunshen" and the "State of Loyalty". It is located in the "Geometric Center" of Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou, with the Yangtze River in the north, Taihu Lake in the south, and in the middle of the canal. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education, and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province jointly pay important measure of NJUST jiangyin campus development.

（一）身心健康、学术背景良好、自觉遵守中国法律及学校规章制度、尊重中国人民风俗习惯的非中国籍公民。
（二）申请人学历和年龄要求

Ⅰ. Eligibility
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health both physically and mentally with good academic background, observe Chinese laws as well as university rules and regulations, and respect Chinese customs.
2. Educational background and age limit
Bachelor Candidate: Applicants must have a high school diploma or certification of equivalent education, between 18 and 28 years old. The high school diploma must be ready prior to the registration day.
Master Candidate: Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or certification of equivalent education under the age of 35. The degree must be ready prior to the registration day.
Doctoral Candidate: Applicants must have a master’s degree certification of equivalent education under the age of 40. The degree must be ready prior to the registration day.
