Hebei University of Chinese Medicine is established in 1956. Located in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, it is one of the earliest universities of Chinese medicine in China. The university has more than 8000 students, including 800 graduate students. Over the past 60 years, it has trained tens of thousands of TCM talents, including Academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering and TCM masters, and has conducted cooperation and exchanges with more than 30 countries around the world. The affiliated hospital of the university is a modernized and comprehensive upper first-class hospital with the integration of medical services, teaching, research, prevention and emergency servicese as well as rehabilitation.

The establishment of the Confucius Institute for Chinese Medicine at the Federal University of Goias in Brazil was witnessed by the top leaders of China and Brazil in October 2019. It is jointly hosted by our university and Tianjin Foreign Studies University, aiming to promote the Chinese culture, such as Chinese medicine (TCM) and Chinese language in Brazil.
