湖南师范大学简介
湖南师范大学创建于1938年，位于历史文化名城长沙，是国家“211工程”重点建设的大学，国家“双一流”建设高校，教育部与湖南省重点共建“双一流”建设高校，教育部普通高等学校本科教学工作水平评估优秀高校，湖南省“世界一流学科建设高校”。学校现有7个校区，占地2744余亩，建筑面积131余万平方米。主校区西偎麓山，东濒湘江，风光秀丽，是全国绿化“400佳”单位之一。
学校设有24个学院，现招生本科专业87个，本科和研究生教育覆盖哲学、经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、医学、管理学、艺术学等11大学科门类。拥有21个博士学位授权一级学科、教育博士专业学位授权点、34个硕士学位授权一级学科和24种硕士专业学位类别，以及20个博士后科研流动站；
学校现有专任教师2020余人。学校先后同46个国家和地区的192所大学和机构建立合作与交流关系，开展人员交流、教学和科研合作，并分别与俄罗斯喀山联邦大学、韩国圆光大学、美国南犹他大学共建孔子学院；与俄罗斯下诺夫哥罗德国立格林卡音乐学院、英国中央兰开夏大学、美国特拉华大学、德国柏林媒体设计学院、美国圣约瑟夫大学开展中外合作办学项目。
学校图书馆藏书400余万册，其中古籍22万余册，订购各类文献数据库113个。学校主办14种公开发行的学术期刊，其中全国中文核心期刊7种；学校出版社为“全国百佳图书出版单位”，国家一级出版社。
建校以来，学校已为国家输送毕业生50余万人，培养了一大批国际学生和港澳台学生，校友遍布海内外。在校学生4万余人，其中研究生1万余人，长短期国际学生近1200人，已形成多规格、多层次的办学格局。

Founded in 1938, Hunan Normal University (HNNU) is now located in Changsha, a city famous for its long history and rich culture.
It was admitted into the “Project of 100 Key Universities in the 21st Century” (the 211 Project), and is now listed as a
“Double First Rate” university to be constructed jointly by China’s Ministry of Education (MoE) and Hunan Provincial Government.
In the assessment of undergraduate teaching conducted by MoE,it was graded A. With 7 campuses, it covers a total area of 180 hectares and boasts a floor area of over 1,190,000 m2.
Lying between the Yuelu Mountain on the west and the Xiang River on the east, the major campus is so picturesque as to be rated as one of the 400 best afforested units in China.
HNNU consists of 24 colleges and runs altogether 83 undergraduate disciplines, which fall into such 11 main categories as philosophy, economics, law, education, literature,
history, science, technology, agriculture, medicine, management and art. 21 of its first-level disciplines are permitted to offer doctoral programs, one to offer a professional doctoral program,
37 of its first-level disciplines to offer masters'programs and 21 to offer professional masters'programs. Besides, it possesses 18 research stations for post-doctors.
HNNU has a faculty of over 1,850, and has set up partnerships with 184 universities and institutions in 45 countries and regions to push forward student and staff exchanges,
and cooperation in teaching and scientific research. It has co-established Confucius Institutes with Kazan Federal University in Russia, Wonkwang University in South Korea
and Southern Utah University in the U.S. respectively, and has Chinese-Foreign Cooperatively-Run Educational Projects with M.I. Glinka Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory of Russia,
University of Central Lancashire of the U. K. and Delaware University of the U.S..
HNNU Library has a collection of over 4 million volumes, among which are over 220,000 thread-bound ancient books. It subscribes to over 103 bibliographic databases. In addition,
HNNU runs a state-level first-class press (one of China’s 100 Best Publishing Houses) and publishes 14 publicly-distributed academic periodicals, of which 7 are national core Chinese periodicals.
The university press is the “Chinese Top 100 Press”, with first-class rank.
HNNU has provided society with over 500,000 graduates, many of whom are international students or Chinese students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
Its alumni are employed all over the world. Currently, it has a population of on-campus students as large as 40,000, of whom over 10,000 are postgraduate students
and 1,200 are long-term or short-term international students. An educational pattern featuring diversified training forms and levels has risen.

ACCOMMODATION
Choosing where to live may be one of the biggest decisions you’ll make when moving to Changsha, and plenty of help is available. Your first stop should be our International Students Dorm, then we will help you to make you best choice for living.
ON-CAMPUS LIVING
The university has two International Students Dorms in main campus, both provide a hotel-standard equipment and service. We have double room and four-people room, every room is equipped with a private washing room and a balcony, TV, fridge, telephone, water heater, internet, furniture. Public laundry & kitchen, entertainment rooms and classrooms are also located in different floors.Double room:600Yuan per month,four-sharing room:300Yuan per month.
OFF-CAMPUS LIVING
About 25% of our international students are living off campus. If your college is not in the main campus or you are a Ph. D student, or you have family member in Changsha and providing you a residence, you can apply for living off campus. The university will provide necessary assistance when you are renting apartments.

经我校审核录取的人员,我校将向其邮寄录取通知书、JW202/JW201表和相关报到材料，被录取者持普通护照、《录取通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202/JW201表）、《外国人体格检查表》、《血液化验报告》等前往中国驻外使（领）馆办理来华学习（X）签证，并持上述材料，按录取通知书上规定的时间前来我校国际交流合作处办理入学报到手续。
申请资格
1.截至2021年6月15日年龄在18周岁（含）以上且身心健康，品行端正的非中国籍公民。
2.遵守中国政府法律和学校规章制度，尊重中国风俗习惯,学生成绩优异。
3.学历及年龄要求：
●进修学习者，须具高中或及其以上学历，年龄不超过50岁。
●攻读本科学位者，须具高中以上学历，年龄不超过25岁。
●攻读硕士学位者，须具有学士学位，年龄不超过35岁。
●攻读博士学位者，须具有硕士学位，年龄不超过40岁。

湖南师范大学每学年分为春、秋季两个学期。2021年秋季学期为9月至次年1月；2022年春季学期为2022年3月至7月。

学习期限为1学期至1学年。春季学期和秋季学期均可开班，各专业均可招收进修生。

APPLICATION PROCESS
Step1: Please visit http://www.studyinhnnu.cucas.cn/ to finish the online application. Check your application status online.
Step2: The formal Admission Notice, Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW202/201) will be sent to admitted applicants. Admitted applicants should bring passport, Admission letter, Visa Application Form (JW202/201), Physical Examination Record Form as well as Blood Test Record, etc. to the local Chinese Embassy or Consulate and apply for a student visa (X visa).
Step3: Students shall register at Hunan Normal University on time as scheduled on the admission letter.
ELIGIBILITY
1.Foreign citizens, aged 18 or above (by June 15, 2021) and ability to perform successfully in an academic program in a foreign country.
2.Commitment to adhere to Chinese laws and University regulations. Record of academic excellence.

●奖学金
1.中国政府奖学金
中国政府奖学金由国家留学基金管理委员会委资助，全额奖学金包括学费、住宿费、保险费和生活费。每年1月至4月申请者可以向中国驻他国使领馆和我校直接申请。奖学金类型为研修生、本科生、硕士研究生和博士研究生。

2.国际中文教师奖学金
国际中文教师奖学金由教育部中外语言交流合作中心资助，全额奖学金包括学费、住宿费、保险费和生活费。申请者直接向所在孔院申请。奖学金类型为一学年研修生、一学期研修生和汉语国际教育专业硕士。

3.湖南省留学生奖学金
湖南省政府为在湘学习优秀留学生提供此奖学金。每年6月至7月，申请者直接向我校申请。奖学金类型为本科生、硕士研究生和博士研究生。
4.湖南省“一带一路”沿线国家语言生奖学金
湖南省政府为一带一路沿线国家提供一学年汉语言学习奖学金。每年4月至6月申请者直接向我校申请，奖学金包含注册费、学费、保险费、住宿费，名额将在6月份公布。
5.湖南师范大学留学生奖学金
湖南师范大学为在校优秀留学生和新生提供奖学金。每年5月至6月申请者直接向我校申请。奖学金类型为进修生、本科生、硕士研究生和博士研究生。获奖者根据奖项类别将获得1000-16000元奖学金，名额将在6至7月份公布。
6.湖南师范大学“一流学科”国际学生奖学金
湖南师范大学为吸引优秀国际学生前来我校“一流学科”相关专业进行学历学习而设立的奖学金。奖学金支持本科生、硕士研究生和博士研究生的申请，奖学金额度从3万元-5万元不等。详细信息可参见此奖学金招生简章。
● Scholarship
1. Chinese Government Scholarship:
Provided to excellent international applicants by the Chinese government, the scholarship covers tuition fees,
accommodations, insurance, and living stipends. HNNU is an appointed university by the Ministry of Education to
host CSC students. Applicants may apply to the Chinese Embassy in their home country or directly to HNNU for
this scholarship from every January to April for researchers, language study and undergraduate, master degree and doctoral programs.

2.International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship:
Provided by Center for Language Education and Cooperation, scholarship includes tuition fees, accommodations,
insurance, and living stipends. HNNU is an appointed university by Center for Language Education and Cooperation to host CIS students.
Applicants may apply to the Confucius Institute in their home country for this scholarship, for language study of one year or one semester, or the master degree in Teaching to Speakers of Other Languages.

3. Hunan Province Scholarship for Foreign Students:
Provided by the Hunan Provincial Government to excellent international students who are studying in Hunan.
Application window: every June and July, apply directly to HNNU.
Scholarship types: Undergraduate students; master degree students; doctoral students.
4. Hunan Province “Belt and Road Initiative” Scholarship:
Provided by the Hunan Provincial Government to applicants from countries lying on the land and maritime Silk
Road, such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand for one-year Chinese language study (non-degree).
Scholarship: it covers registration fee,tuition fees, accommodations, insurance. Application window: every April or June, apply directly to HNNU.
Scholarship quota will be listed every June.
5. Hunan Normal University Scholarship for International Students:
Provided by HNNU to excellent international students or applicants. Available to undergraduate, master degree and doctoral students.
Winners will receive 1000-16000 yuan scholarships depending on different scholarship types.

6. Hunan Normal University “First-Class Discipline” International Students Scholarship:
Provided by HNNU to excellent international student applicants. Available to master degree, and doctoral degree applicants who wish to study in “First-Class Discipline” majors.
Scholarships: 30000 yuan-50000 yuan per year.
