Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities(YMUN)is located in Baise, the central and foremost city in the western part of Guangxi, China, bordering Yunnan on the west, Guizhou on the north, Nanning on the east, and Vietnam on the south. Baise is 70km away from Bama, a village renowned for its high number of centenarians, and 150km away from Detian Waterfall, Asia's largest transnational waterfall. It's a popular tourist city in China and an official National Garden city with a forestcoverage rate of 67.37%.YMUN is a university under the administration of Guangxi,providing undergraduate, postgraduate, international education and continuing education. It's the biggest public medical school, medical high education center, and clinical and scientific research center among the three provinces.
Established in 1958, YMUN consists of 13 schools(Basic Medicine, Clinical Medicine, Public Health and Management, Pharmacy, Laboratory Medicine, Medical Imaging,Postgraduate Education, Nursing, Languages and Cultures, Continuing Education,Marxism, Stomatology, and General Medicine)and 1 departments(PhysicalEducation).There are nearly 30,000 students with 24 different majors for associate's degrees, bachelor's degrees, and master's degrees.
The university has two campuses, covering a total area of 1.12 million square meters, and it has advanced facilities for teaching and scientific research. The library housesan extensive collection of books, and the school is fully covered by an internetnetwork providing access to valuable online resources such as a student self-learning platform. A simulated hospital with complete functions, a clinical skills training center, and a national standardized training base for resident doctors have been established. The university has 1 direct affiliated hospital, 5 indirectly-affiliated hospitals, and 55 teaching practice bases, providing solid foundations for clinical teaching and practice.
In 2000, YMUN was approved to recruit international students. Today, there are nearly 500 international students from more than 20 countries, including the United States, Thailand, and Pakistan. In recent years, our international education teachers have greatly expanded their skills as more than 200 teachers have spent time abroad for further study or academic visits. Taking advantage of the One Belt, One Road strategy and the growing cooperation between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), YMUN will set up an international education platform and strive to open up new possibilities for international education cooperation.
住宿
Accommodations
2-3人安排一间宿舍，宿舍内配有空调、热水器、校园网、衣柜、桌椅等；费用约为每生每年3000-5000 人民币。
2-3 people will be accommodated in one room. Each room is equipped with an air conditioner, a water heater, internet access, a wardrobe, a desk, chairs, etc. The accommodation fee is 3000-5000 RMB/ year/ person.
申请条件 Application Requirements
(一）本科专业 Undergraduate Programs
1. 申请人须为年满16-30周岁的非中国籍公民，身体健康，遵守中国的法律法规和学校的各项规章制度。
An applicant must be 16-30 years old, be in good health, and be willing to abide by the laws of China and the rules and regulations of YMUN. An applicant cannot be a citizen of the People’s Republic of China.
2. 未满18周岁的申请人须由家长提供一份家长担保函，并需翻译成中文且由中方和申请方国的领事馆的认证。
An applicant under 18 years old must provide a letting of supporting translated into Chinese and authorized by both of the Chinese consulate and the consulate of the applicant’s country.
3. 申请人高中毕业，英语、物理、化学、生物四门科目成绩达到学校入学基本要求。
An applicant must be a high school graduate whole English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology scores meet the admission requirements.
4. 申请人汉语水平如达不到学校要求，来校后须先进行1年的汉语补习，考核合格后方可进入专业学习。
If an applicant’s Chinese language proficiency does not meet the school’s requirement, the applicant must take one year of Chinese language courses prior to academic study.
（二）研究生专业 Postgraduate Programs
1.申请人须为年龄不超过40周岁的非中国籍公民，身体健康，遵守中国的法律法规和学校的各项规章制度。
An applicant must be less than 40 years old, must be in good health, and must be willing to abide by the laws of China and the rules and regulations of YMUN. An applicant cannot be citizen if the People’s Republic of China.
2.申请人取得学士学位，并且通过国家汉语水平考试(HSK)四级考试。
An applicant must have a bachelor’s degree and must have passed the Chinese proficiency Test Level IV (HSK-4)
申请流程 Application Procedures
1.下载入学申请表；
2.详细填写入学申请表内容（电子版填写）
Fill in the details on the form (typing the form on the computer is required).
3.未满18周岁的申请人须由家长提供一份家长担保函，并需翻译成中文且由中方和申请方国的领事馆的认证。
An applicant under 18 years old must provide a letting of supporting translated into Chinese and authorized by both of the Chinese consulate and the consulate of the applicant’s country.
4.通过邮件提交申请文件，包括申请表、护照扫描件(包括护照所有含签证和旅行记录的页面)、高中毕业证书或学士学位证书（附上中文翻译件）、成绩单（附上中文翻译件）、体检报告(近6个月内）及2寸蓝底近照。
Email all required documents with your application form, including photocopies of your passport(including all the pages with traveling history and visas), your high school diploma or bachelor’s degree ( with Chinese translation), your transcript (with Chinese translation), your completed health examination report (within 6 months) and 2-inch photo with blue background.
5.如通过资格审查，约在30天左右收到录取通知书和JW202表。
If you pass the university’s admission review and the approval of the provincial Department of Education, you will receive a University Admission Notice and JW202 form within about 30 days.
