Sanya City is located at the southernmost tip of Hainan Island. Often called the ‘Oriental Hawaii’, Sanya is a famous holiday destination in China, renowned for its tropical climate and beautiful beaches. The local tourism service industry is well developed with numerous luxurious resorts of international hotel brands, which offers an ideal internship and employment opportunity for students and industry elites. Under the guidance of the One Belt and One Road Initiative, and also thanks to its strategic location in the Maritime Silk Road, Sanya City is gradually becoming a popular international tourism hotspot and an important cultural exchange center connecting Southeast Asia.
Established in 2001, Sanya City Vocational College (SCVC) is a certified higher education institute specialized in vocational training, approved by the Hainan Provincial Government and the Ministry of Education in China. The College is located near downtown Sanya, not far from the public beach of Dadonghai. Nested in a peaceful and lush green campus, SCVC provides an idyllic learning and living space with its modern learning and living facilities.

Application Requirement
Sophomore or junior college students who are studying Hotel Management or related academic disciplines in overseas higher education institutions are qualified for application. Requirements for candidates:
1. Non-Chinese citizens with a valid foreign passport
2. Age 18-25 years old
3. Physically and mentally healthy
4. No criminal record
5. Fluent in English and preferably can speak some basic Chinese.

Download the Application Form or acquire it from the Admission Office of our overseas partner colleges.
Please assemble the Application Form with the following documents and email them to scvc@fazheng.com.cn
Document list:
1. Application Form for the Hotel Management Internship Program.
2. Original copy of the Recommendation Letter issued by the college/university where the candidate is reading a related diploma/degree program.
3.Photocopy of the college/university transcript of the applicant.
4. Photocopy of the applicant’s passport, which has to be valid for at least 18 months after the date of application.
5. Health Certificate issued by a certified clinic or hospital in the home country.
Successful candidates will receive an Admission Letter from SCVC as well as the Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW202). Students admitted can then apply for a study visa (X1 visa) to China at the local Chinese Embassy or Consulate with the Admission Letter and Form JW202.

Working closely with our partner Marriot Hotels, Sanya City Vocational College is now offering a one-year Internship Program for Hotel Management for international students who are majoring in Hotel Management or related academic disciplines in higher education institutions outside China. In addition to hands-on field practice in luxurious resort hotels such as The St. Regis Sanya Yalong Bay Resort, international students will also be studying Hotel Services and Management courses as well as Mandarin Chinese at Sanya City Vocational College during term time.
