For our international students' convenience , Sichuan University will provide accommodation for them and implement a 24-hour duty system at Wangjiang Campus, Hua'xi Campus and Jiang'an Campus. Application Procedures

1. When to apply

Any applicant wishing to enroll for long-term or short-term study at Sichuan University should file the application three months before the start of the desired semester.

2. How to apply
(1) In case of an application for Chinese Government Scholarship, you are required to login on the website (www.csc.edu.cn) of China Scholarship Council within the specified application time. Application procedures will be provided thereon. After filing the application, you are required to login on this following website (http://www.sculx.cn/) of the Student Recruitment of Sichuan University and file the reapplication. Otherwise, you will not be admitted.

(2) Other applicants NOT pertaining to the Chinese Government Scholarship are required to login our website (http://www.sculx.cn/) of the Student Recruitment of Sichuan University within the specified application time.

Please be sure to check your email inbox (including the junk mailbox) regularly, and avoid missing a notice requiring addition or correction to your application information/material/document(s). The application may be rejected in case of any incomplete or inaccurate information based on the materials submitted.

3. Review

 (1) All of the applicants' materials applying for Chinese Government Scholarship will be reviewed by the CSC and Sichuan University.

 (2) Self-supporting applicants' application materials will solely be reviewed by Sichuan University.

4. Admission

Applicants who are successfully accepted to start their semester with us will receive the Admission Letter for International Students of Sichuan University and JW201 (student with scholarship)/JW202 form (self-supporting student), and take the Admission Letter and the form above-mentioned to obtain the Visa for Study in China (X1 or X2) from Chinese embassy (consulate).

5. Registration

The applicants must come to the school for registration at the given time, taking the Admission Letter for International Students of Sichuan University  (hardcopy), JW201 (student with scholarship)/JW202 form (self-supporting student) and other relevant materials.
