Introduction of Hubei Polytechnic University
Hubei Polytechnic University is a general higher education institution with rapid development focusing on cultivating application-oriented talents, with engineering being our strong point. It is located in Huangshi, Hubei, a cradle of modern Chinese national industry. The school covers an area of 1 million 460 thousand square meters; the school building area is 665 thousand square meters. Supported by Qinglong Mountain from the back and surrounded by the Cihu Lake, Hubei Polytechnic University enjoys a beautiful environment, picturesque scenery, and is known as the most beautiful campus.
HBPU has 21 subordinate schools and 58 undergraduate programs covering 8 disciplines including engineering, science, economics, management, medicine, literature, education and arts. HBPU has a library of 1.131 million books, 19 digital database (including 2.2595 million e-books). HBPU now owns teaching and scientific research equipment with a total value of 169 million RMB. HBPU has 16310 full time undergraduate students and junior college students, 247 international students.
Adhering to running an open and cooperative education，HBPU has co-constructed three non-independently subordinate schools with local governments inside and outside of Hubei province, national science & technology parks, and well-known domestic enterprises. Two non-subordinate clinical schools were founded with local medical groups; a “3+2” application-oriented talent interconnecting education model has bee developed with inner-provincial vocational and technical colleges on three specialties. Nearly 20 research institutes and development centers have been founded with enterprises across the country. The university has co-cultivated 63 full-time doctors and postgraduates with Wuhan University and Wuhan Textile University. HBPU has established close academic communication and cooperation with more than 20 universities and research institutes in countries and regions as Canada, USA and New Zealand.

P.S.: Students are granted free access to outdoor basketball, volleyball, Ping-Pong and football facilities. Badminton and tennis facilities can be rented. Internet services in the school library and computer lab need to be paid for. In case of medical conditions, students can visit the doctors from hospitals inside or outside the campus.

请注意：Please note the following:
1、年龄要求：申请者年龄需在17-23岁之间。
1. Age requirement: the applicant should be between 17 and 23 years old.
2、本科学历申请者需提供HSK4级证书，不能提供者需在攻读学历课程之前应参加由我校组织的汉语培训，获得HSK四级证书方可进入医学专业学习。
2. All applicants are required to provide a HSK-level4 certificate. Applicants who cannot provide HSK certificates are required to participate in language training and pass our language test, before pursuing courses of clinical medicine program.
3、成绩要求：申请者的英语、数学、物理、化学和生物单科成绩必须在70分(B等)以上，其他科目成绩平均分须达到70分(B等)以上。
3. The grades of applicant’s English, mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology subjects must be all above 70 (B level), and the average grade of applicant’s all other subjects must be above 70 (B level).
4. 申请者材料到达湖北理工学院国际交流与合作处后，需要4周时间审核。审核完毕将通知申请者申请结果。

5、秋季入学，在6月30日前递交申请材料；春季入学，在12月30日前递交申请材料。

■学习费用Study costs
汉语研修生学费：每学年8000元。
General language training fees: 8,000 RMB per year.
本科生学费：
临床医学，学制5年，学费为每学年15000元。

■奖学金Scholarship
奖学金：全部本科生10000元/年,资助期限4-5年.
Scholarships: 10000RMB/year for all undergraduates. Funding duration:4-5 years.
申请湖北省外国留学生奖学金项目的申请者年龄在18-20周岁，除应达到湖北理工学院招收普通留学生的要求以外，还需满足以下条件：
1.申请者必须持有HSK4级证书，且高中所有科目成绩都在80分（A等）以上。在其国内参加汉语比赛或者其他竞赛的学生可优先考虑。
2.申请者应身体健康遵纪守法，知华爱华，友华亲华，且具有国际视野和中华文化底蕴。
3.申请者需提供本人用于视频面试的QQ或微信号。
Applicants who apply for Hubei Provincial Governmental Scholarship should be between 18-20 years old. Besides satisfying all requirements of HBPU for undergraduate admission, applicants must also meet the following requirements:
1.Applicants should be in good physical condition, and abide by Chinese laws and regulations, know and love China, have an international perspective as well as good knowledge about Chinese culture. Priority will be given to applicants who had attended Chinese contests or contests of other subjects in their home countries.
2.Applicants must hold HSK 4 certificate, whose all high school subjects grades should be above 80 (A level).
3.Applicant must provide QQ or Wechat account for interview.
