       北京林业大学是教育部直属、教育部与国家林业和草原局共建的全国重点大学，是国家首批“211工程”重点建设高校和国家“优势学科创新平台”建设项目试点高校，是世界一流学科建设高校。

　　学校办学历史可追溯至1902年的京师大学堂农业科林学目。 1952年全国高校院系调整，北京农业大学森林系与河北农学院森林系合并，成立北京林学院。 1956年，北京农业大学造园系和清华大学建筑系部分并入学校。

Beijing Forestry University build a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Education and the State Forestry Administration. School's history can be traced back to 1902, the Imperial University of Agriculture Colin school head. In 1952, the National College to adjust, Beijing Agricultural University Department of Forestry Department of Forestry, Hebei Agricultural College merged Beijing Forestry University.

    学校留学生宿舍设有单人间和双人间。每层配备公共厨房、浴室，宿舍内配备冰箱、空调，宿舍环境卫生，光照充足，隔音良好，宿舍四周绿化优美，安静宜居。

There are single and double rooms in the dormitory for international students. Each floor is equipped with public kitchen and bathroom. The dormitory is equipped with refrigerator and air conditioner. The dormitory environment is sanitary, with sufficient lighting and sound insulation. The dormitory is surrounded by beautiful green and livable.

1. Based on biology and ecology, Beijing Forestry University is a national key university with coordinated development of agriculture, science, engineering, management, economics, culture, law, philosophy, education and arts, with the characteristics of forestry, landscape architecture, forestry engineering, grass science and agricultural and forestry economic management.
2. The university has entered the ranks of national "double first-class" construction universities. Forestry and landscape architecture remain the first in China in the third and fourth round of first-class discipline evaluation, and the number of disciplines entering the top 1% of ESI global ranking has increased to 7.
3. The tree molecular design and breeding platform of the university has become a high-end innovation center of Beijing, and won the key support of 500 million yuan from Beijing.
4. The international influence of the university has been further enhanced by holding major international conferences such as the world landscape architecture teachers' Congress and the International Forest Science Forum.
