北京农学院简介
北京农学院是一所都市型现代农林高等院校。北京农学院创建于1956年，前身为河北省通县农业学校。1958年，河北省通县农业学校与北京市农业合作干部学校合并，更名为北京市农业学校。1965年，在北京市农业学校的基础上建立半农半读的北京农业劳动大学。1978年，经国务院批准更名为北京农学院。学校现占地面积约1000亩，包括校本部、东校区、北校区、大学科技园市场。另外，学校建有千亩大学科技园农场、万亩大学科技园林场。
Beijing University of Agriculture is an urban modern agricultural and forestry university. Its history dates back to 1956 , named Hebei Tongzhou Agricultural School at that time. In 1958, Hebei Tongzhou Agricultural School merged with Beijing Agricultural Cooperation cadre school and renamed as Beijing Agricultural School. In 1965, Beijing Agricultural Labor University was established on the basis of Beijing Agricultural School. In 1978, it was renamed Beijing University of Agriculture with the approval of the State Council. Covering an area of about 67 hectares, it contains the headquarters, the east campus, the north campus, and the university science park market. Besides, there is also a university science farm of 67 hectares and a university science forest farm of 667 hectares.
学校现有11个二级学院和3个教学部，拥有11个一级学科硕士学位授权点和7类专业硕士学位授权点。现有31个本科专业，其中园艺、动物医学、农林经济管理3个专业为国家级特色建设专业。
The university has 11 secondary colleges and 3 teaching departments, and has 11 first-class discipline master degrees and 7 professional master degrees. There are 31 bachelor's degree programs. Horticulture, Animal Medicine and Economic Management of Agriculture and Forestry are the key bachelor's degree programs.
学校现有教职工1200余人，其中专任教师500余人，具有硕士及以上学位教师占91.3%。在籍学生8000余人，包括本科生和研究生。
The university has more than 1,200 faculty and staff members, of which, 500 are full-time teachers and 91.3% with master’s degree or above. There are currently more than 8000 enrolled students of various types, including postgraduate and undergraduate.
BUA adheres to the opening up policy. So far, it has signed cooperation agreements or memoranda with more than 30 foreign universities. The university has carried out “3+1” undergraduate cooperative program with Harper Adams University in the UK and Edith Cowen University in Australia. Besides, it has carried out a number of joint schooling programs with relevant universities in countries, including the United States, UK, New Zealand and Japan.

二、申请资格
II. Eligibility for Application
1、原则上年龄在40周岁以下，学士学位及以上学历，成绩良好，持外国有效普通护照的非中国籍公民。对原为中国公民后加入外国国籍者，我校执行教育部教外来〔2009〕83号文件。
1. In principle, applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and must be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for the masters’ programs , and must be a valid foreign passport holder. For foreign nationals who were originally Chinese citizens, we implement Wai Lai 〔2009〕No. 83 Document of the Ministry of Education.
2、具有较高的汉语水平，原则上汉语水平须达到HSK4级及以上（无HSK考试成绩但汉语水平经我校考核相当者，也可申请进入专业学习，但必须在入学一年内补上HSK考试成绩）。
2. With higher Chinese proficiency, Chinese language must meet HSK Level 4 and above in principle (those who have no HSK test scores, but have been tested by us and prove to have equal Chinese language level can also apply for specialty study, but they must supplement HSK test score within one year after enrollment).

为鼓励品学兼优的外国留学生，我校为外国留学生提供北京市外国留学生奖学金和北京农学院外国留学生奖学金，获得北京市外国留学生奖学金的外国留学生不重复奖励。
In order to encourage foreign students who are excellent in characters and learning, we provide foreign students with Beijing Scholarships for Foreign Students and BUA Scholarships for Foreign Students, except for those who have already won Beijing Scholarships for Foreign Students.
