China Medical University is located in Shenyang, Liaoning province. It was the first medical school established by the Chinese Communist Party. It was the only school that had finished the entire 12,500 kilometerLong Marchwhile persisted in running the school. It was also one of the earliest schools that delivered college education of western medicine in China.
China Medical University has fostered and educated more than 300 thousand senior medical professionals since its founding. Its graduates are all over China and many other countries and regions, many of whom have become senior leaders in national health management and famous medical experts. At present, CMU is authorized to grant doctoral degrees in 6 primary disciplines, which are Basic Medicine, Clinical Medicine, Biology, Stomatology, Public Health and Preventive Medicine, and Nursing. It also has 5 national key academic disciplines and one national key academic discipline in cultivation, 42 national key clinical specialty construction projects of National Health and Family Planning Commission, 7 first class distinctive disciplines of universities and colleges in Liaoning, 7 mobile post doctoral stations and 26 undergraduate specialties.
449 internationally renowned experts and scholars have been employed as honorary titles of the University. In recent years, 146 important international cooperation projects and 38 CMB projects have been carried out.

Application Procedure
1. CMU accepts online application. Applicants can log into the China International Student Service System of China Medical University (https://ies.cmu.edu.cn) and apply.
The application system is accessible from February to August each year.
Applicants must fill in real, correct and complete information online and upload application materials as required. The applicant will be responsible for all consequences and responsibilities. The results of the admission and enrolment will be affected if any wrong, missing or false information occur.
2. After receiving the application, CMU will examine the application materials. For applicants who have passed the application document examination and online interview, CMU will issue electronic acceptance letters。
3. Once receiving the acceptance letters, applicants must pay a deposit of $1000 (not refundable, the deposit will be retained as partial tuition fee after registration) and upload the remittance letter to the application system.
4. After the applicants paying full tuition fees for the first year (not refundable) within a given time and uploading the remittance letter to the application system, CMU will issue an “Visa Application Form for Study in China”（JW202 form） and “Admission Notice letter”.
5. Students holding “Admission Notice letter” and “Visa application Form for Study in China”（JW202 form）issued by our school can apply for X1 visa to study in China at the People's Republic of China Embassy or Consulates.
