1.History of BUCT
Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) was established in 1958 . Formerly known as the Beijing Institute of Chemical Technology. BUCT is a national key state university directly affiliated with the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.BUCT is a national first-class discipline construction university and is part of the 211 Project universities and 985 Project Innovation Platforms.With half a century of history, BUCT has become a multi-discipline university with a solid foundation in science and engineering, as well as other distinctive disciplines such as management, economics, law, literature, education, philosophy, medical sciences.
2.Ranking
The BUCT is included by the Times Higher Education （THE） World University Rankings 2021, securing a position somewhere between 501st and 600th internationally and between 23rd and 33rd domestically.The academic strength of the university has steadily increased. Chemistry ,materials science are in the top 1‰ of THE ESI ranking, and engineering, and biology and biochemistry arein the top 1%. Chemical engineering and technology in the fourth round of discipline assessment in China ranked joint third.
3.Colloge & Facility
After more than 60 years of construction, Beijing University of Chemical Technology has developed into a multi-discipline key university with a solid foundation in science, strong strength in engineering,and distinctive features in management, economics, law, literature, education, philosophy and medicine, it has formed a multi-level talent training pattern from undergraduate education to master's degree, doctor's degree, post-doctor's station and foreign student education. At present, the university has 14 colleges, with 15,340 full-time undergraduate students, 7,643 postgraduates (including more than 1026 doctoral students) , 3,034 correspondence students and Continuing education students, and more than 650 international students.

1.Location:
BUCT is composed of three campuses. The east campus sits just north of the Third Ring, a convenient location yet with a quiet and attractive environment. It is less than half an hour’s bus ride from Tiananmen Square.( Address: No. 15 Bei San Huan Dong Lu, Beijing, 100029, P. R. China ) The west campus is located west of the Black-Bamboo Park in a beautiful neighborhood.( No.98 Zi Zhu Yuan Lu ,Haidian ,Beijing, 100089,p.r. China) The north campus resides in Changping district of Beijing, near the famous scenic vista, the Great Wall. ( No.29Nanjianroad,Nankoutown,Changping ,Beijing,102299,p.r. China).
2.Facility:
BUCT provides standard dormitory (double/single room). Each room has its own private washroom, television own Wi-Fi/Internet access, electric water heater, sturdy beds, study tables, wide inbuilt closets and shelves for the students’ personal things and books. Every room is equipped with toilet , air-conditioner, TV, washing machine and refrigerator.The dormitory is well designed to ensure students who study at BUCT to enjoy a comfortable living environment.

BUCT Brief Introduction
Founded in 1958, Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) is one of China’s leading universities directly under the Ministry of Education. As a key contributor in both the national ‘211 Project’ and the ‘985 Advantage Subject Innovation Platform’, BUCT has made profound basis in the core fields of science and technology as well as integrated the academic disciplines of management, economics, law, the liberal arts, education, philosophy, and medical science to its curriculum and comprehensive outlook. There are 14 colleges at BUCT, including College of Chemical Engineering, College of Materials Science and Engineering, College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, College of Information Science and Technology, College of Science, College of Economic Management, and the College of Humanities and Law.
BUCT started to recruit international students since 1993. Until now, there have been over 5000 overseas students from about 60 countries and regions studying Chinese language and culture in BUCT.

1.1Business Chinese & Exchange Summer Program
Cultivate the students' listening and speaking skills in Chinese. Enable students to master vocabulary and grammar of business communication. Also provide the chance for visiting China companies. The course is set for two weeks and can be customized for the prospective students or groups needs or convenience.

Cultivate the students' Chinese listening and speaking skills. Enable students to master vocabulary and grammar of daily life communication.
