I. Training objective

It aims at training practical talents with global perspective and advanced concept under the current open economy. Students are familiar with policies, rules and laws about international trade in China, and familiar with relative international conventions in order to be qualified with the international business, enterprise management and consultation affairs in the foreign trade department, public institution as well as government department.

II. Program Brief Introduction

This program requires students to systemically master the basic theory and rich knowledge of world economics and international trade, to know modern management methods and skills, and have strong problem analyzing and solving abilities.

The program consists of four sections include: Chinese/English Language General courses, Subject Basic Courses, Major Academic Courses and Practices. Students will deepen their understanding towards the program through group studies, enterprise visits and international trade simulation practices. Students are required to master both Chinese and English language skills and solve practical problems with the knowledge learnt from classes.   

Major courses: International Finance, International Trade Theory and Practice, Economics, Management, Cross Cultural Management and Communication, International Investment Theory and Practice, International Logistic Management, International Service Trade, World Economics and Urban Geography, International Negotiation, Business English and Communication, Cross-Boarder E-Commerce, International Commerce and Corporation Management, International Marketing, Entry Strategies into International Markets,  International Trade and Management Case Study

III. Degree and Credit Requirements

Duration: Four years

Credit: 130

Mandatory Courses:108

Elective Courses: 22

Degree: Bachelor of Economics

IV. Application Requirements:

1. Applicant should be above 18 and under the age of 30, in good health;

2. Non-Chinese Citizens;

3. Applicant should have obtained a senior high school diploma or an equivalent diploma by the time of application;

4. Applicant should have a mastery of English language skills equal to TOEFL 50 or IELTS 5.0.

V. Application time: January to June every year

VI. Application documents:

1. Photocopy of passport and 2 passport -sized photos;

2. Photocopy of High school graduation certificate, this year’s graduates can provide proof of graduation when apply (either in English or Chinese);

3. Photocopy of High school transcripts;

4. Photocopy of English proficiency test (TOEFL or IELTS) transcripts;

5. Some students may required to provide non-criminal record.

Note: The application materials will not be returned disregard to successful admission or not. Certificates other than in Chinese or English language must be translated to Chinese or English by a legitimate notary authority.
