Course Brief Introduction:
The Statistics discipline of Northwester University is devoted to cultivate students to master the fundamental theory and systematical knowledge of mathematics. Besides, students are required to engage in the innovative scientific research independently; also easily to enter the international academic exchanges in English. The main research concentrations are non-determinacy analysis, the statistical basis of machine learning and high dimensional data analysis, the mathematical basis of artificial intelligence.
Main Courses:
Advanced Mathematical Statistics , the Theory and Method of Uncertainty Reasoning, Theory of Statistical Learning, Modern Statistical Analysis, etc.
