Course Brief Introduction
The Physics discipline of Northwester University established in 1937 with a long history. This specialty is devoted to cultivate students to master the fundamental theory and systematical knowledge of physics. Besides, students are required to engage in the innovative scientific research independently and easily to enter the international academic exchanges in English. The main research concentrations are transient optics and ultrafast optics, fiber grating sensing technology, new all-solid-state laser, information optics, biophotonics, quantum field theory.

Theoretical Physics Frontier, Optical Frontier, Condensed Physics Frontier, Calculation Physics Theory, Differential Geometry and General Relativity, Advanced Materials Science, etc.
