Program Introduction
The major of carbon storage science and engineering is based on the College of Carbon Neutral Future Technology, the State Key Laboratory of Heavy Oil, and the State Key Laboratory of Petroleum Resources and Exploration. It consists of 5 academicians and tens of national talents, in which students are mainly promoting their professional knowledge and practical capabilities in CO2 capture, CO2 enhanced oil recovery and geological sequestration, and CO2 conversion and utilization. From the perspective of curriculums, it emphasizes the integration of multiple disciplines and the expansion of international vision. All in all, this major is aimed to cultivate high-level technical personnel and research-oriented talents who are brilliant in Carbon storage science and engineering.
