Program Description
For the PhD Program of Mechanics, students have to master the theoretical foundations and systems of mathematics, mechanics, and related physics to understand the current status and development direction of the discipline. Students have to be able to establish correct mechanics-mathematical models for complex research objects, using various analytical methods, numerical calculations, and experimental methods. Students have to be proficient in the study, research and international academic exchanges of this major, and can independently undertake theoretical research and experiments in civil engineering, electronic device engineering, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, river engineering, biomedical engineering and other professional fields. We aim to cultivate high-level talents with strong academic potential and innovative consciousness, who can independently engage in scientific research, teaching, design, production and management in mechanics and adjacent disciplines.
