The discipline of Japanese of Ningbo University was established in 1993 and its MA program began in 2006. There are more than 250 students majoring in Japanese. The discipline is a key discipline of Ningbo and a characteristic discipline of Ningbo University. There are 18 Chinese teachers and 2 Japanese teachers in the department of Japanese. Among them, there are 4 associate professors and 7 doctor holders. They all have the experience of studying in Japan and they are distinguished scholars in their fields.
