Program Description
About the Program:
In recent years, the constantly rising demand for culinary professionals from our society has made the bachelor program of Science in Nutrition & Culinary Arts rank among the top three popular majors with its prosperous employment prospects. Accordingly HSU has been attaching significant importance to this bachelor’s degree program of Science in Nutrition & Culinary Arts and started the students’ admission as early as 1997, being the first of its kind in Anhui Province.
Expected Learning Outcomes:
The School of Tourism has established the following expected learning outcomes for all its Bachelor of Science programs:
Students are expected to have a good command of the elementary knowledge on cooking, nutrition, catering management; possess skilled cooking competence; experienced in cooking operations, nutritional analysis and nutritional catering, as well as the management of catering industry.
