Program Description

Wenzhou-Kean University’s Biotechnology Science (M.S.) program is committed to helping students master the latest high-tech skills through course learning and laboratory experiences. Our program allows students to concentrate their studies in the two rapidly advancing sectors of biotechnology and pharmaceutical sciences. The courses of the program include Molecular Cell Biology, Biostatistics and Computational Analysis, Scientific Writing, Advanced Cell Biology, Ethics in Biotechnology, Molecular Cellular Techniques, Advanced Systems Biology, Medicinal Chemistry, Applied Human Immunology, Pharmaceutical Innovation and Drug Development, Molecular Biology of Cancer, Advanced Molecular Cell Technology, Molecular Pharmacology, Chemical Instrumentation and more. Graduates become proficient in state-of-the-art technologies and are prepared to seek employment/advancement in biotech/pharma or to continue their graduate study toward the Ph.D. degree.
