Program Description

Wenzhou-Kean University’s MBA program is a specialized MBA degree program that prepares managers to succeed in a global business environment. It offers a wide and deep selection of global-focused courses, experiences, and training in global business issues. In addition, it has an extensive global experience requirement that sets it apart from other programs. The MBA program provides graduate students with the specialized knowledge and skills necessary to manage multicultural and multinational workforces effectively in a rapidly changing global business environment. Course modules consist of:

  1. Foundation Requirements
  2. Advanced Knowledge in Global Business
  3. Advanced Functional Areas of Business
  4. Global Business Simulation

Course Arrangement: Classes are scheduled on Saturday and the morning of Sunday, supported by distance teaching/learning on workdays (the actual class schedules are subject to change based on the admission results)

Entry Requirements

  1. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university

*Applicants, if not graduated from U.S. institutions, must submit a course-by-course evaluation of their official university transcript by National Association of Credit Evaluation Services (NACES) (http://www.naces.org). One of the most popular NACES members used by Kean University is World Education Services (WES) (need to choose course-by-course evaluation).

  1. 3-year work experience
  2. Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended, cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher (lower GPAs will be considered based on strength of overall application)
  3. Submit GMAT or GRE test scores

*GMAT/GRE is waived for applicants who meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Have already earned a graduate degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Have passed the CPA certifying exam or hold the CPA license. Copy of CPA exam results or copy of CPA license is needed.
  1. Two letters of recommendation
  2. Professional Resume/CV
  3. Personal essay explaining candidate’s interest in the program
  4. Official TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo score reports of test taken within the past two years of application

*TOEFL iBT: 79, paper-based: 550; IELTS: 6.5; Duolingo English Test: 100
