Program Description

Program Introduction:
Geology is a program that studies material compositions, internal structure, and external features of the earth, mutual interactions between earths and the history of the evolution of earth. China University of Petroleum (Beijing) has undertaken several high-level scientific research programs and has sufficient funds to enable students of this major conduct excellent research under the guidance of renowned academicians and professors.

专业介绍：
主要研究领域包括含油气盆地分析、油气成藏机理与分布规律、油气资源评价、油气田开发地质、沉积学、构造地质学、地球化学等方面。在沉积学和层序地层学、储层地质学、测井地质学、岩相古地理和岩性油气藏预测等方面密切参与石油工业的勘探开发研究。

Entry Requirements

During your applications you will need to upload the following documents;

1. Passport scanned copy (information page)

2. Notarized copies of your Bsc Degree certificates, current student certificate and all of the transcripts

3. Non criminal record

4. Health Examination Certificate

5. Study plan (Proposal)&CV

6. 2 Recommendation letters (From an associate professor and above, Or Senior Professional in your field of study for postgraduate students)

7. Acceptance letter from your supervisor

8. We require IELTS≧6.5 or TOEFL≧80 points or more for non native speakers of English. Alternatively students can submit a certificate which can prove you have been taught in English for the during your previous study for more than two years from your previous institution in the place of IELTS or TOEFL.
