Clinical Medicine Program of of Hubei University of Medicine is one of the top 1% majors in the ESI global rankings, domestic first-class construction discipline, Hubei Province brand major, Ministry of Education " Physician Education and Training Program of Excellence " project, " National Professional Comprehensive Reform Pilot Project”. In 2014, it passed the professional certification of the Ministry of Education and has provincial simulation teaching bases.
The five-year undergraduate program in clinical medicine aims to train undergraduates to master basic medical knowledge, clinical operation skills and correct professional attitudes, and lay a solid foundation for students to conduct medical practice, medical research and health management in the future. Students participating in this program should possess the most basic medical theory and knowledge. Students should also master basic clinical operation skills, including diagnosis, treatment and disease prevention. Meanwhile, students should be able to analyze and distinguish the causes and mechanisms of common diseases. Students should be engaged in disease prevention and clinical medicine after graduation.
